Causes of skin diseases
In 77-85% patients with atopic dermatitis, urticaria, etc. skin diseases revealed dysbacteriosis of the large intestine, that is, a significant reduction in the population of bifidus and lactobacilli and an increase in the number of pathogenic microorganisms. With dysbacteriosis of the large intestine:
  • the synthesis of substances necessary for the subsequent formation of immunoglobulins and nonspecific body defense factors is reduced; reduced synthesis of vitamins, hydrogen, methane, carbon dioxide, alcohol, lactic acid, biologically active substances (volatile fatty acids, hormones, natural antibiotics),
  • the synthesis of toxins increases: ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, disulfides, indole, skatole, mycotoxins, etc.) and harmful enzymes (b-glucuronidase, nitroreductase, azoreductase),
  • the impermeability of the intestinal wall, which is normally provided by bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, is disturbed, resulting in the translocation (penetration) of toxins into the systemic circulation.

When poisons, toxins enter the bloodstream, the liver and kidneys begin to work with a vengeance. ..

All of the above factors have a negative impact on the human immune system and, accordingly, affect the condition of the skin. Further - dermatitis, diathesis, psoriasis ...
Treatment and prevention strategy

To get rid of many skin diseases and subsequently maintain the skin in a healthy state, it is necessary to get rid of colon dysbacteriosis, that is, to increase the population of protective normoflora, which will result in:

  • reduction in the concentration of toxic substances in the bloodstream,
  • an increase in the concentration in the systemic circulation of biologically active substances that favorably affect the condition of the skin,
  • activation of the immune system.
Thus, it is necessary, first of all, to provide the protective microflora of the intestine (bifidus and lactobacilli) with advantages over pathogenic bacteria, that is, to provide the beneficial microflora with the energy necessary for its growth and vital activity.
The drug Lactusan effectively copes with this task and that is why it is indicated for dermatitis, diathesis, psoriasis, and so on. skin diseases (eg pimples, blackheads).
Dosages and contraindications of Lactusan.

Lactusan refers to over-the-counter drugs. Lactusan is available in two forms: syrup and tablets.
Recommendations for the use of Laktusan syrup for dysbacteriosis: for adults, 2 teaspoons of syrup 2 times a day; children from 3 years old - 1 teaspoon per day, children from 1 to 3 years old - 0.5-1 teaspoon per day.
Lactusan in tablets for dysbacteriosis, antibiotic therapy, constipation: adults are prescribed - 4 g (8 tablets) 2 times a day.
For children over 5 years old - 2 g (4 tablets) once a day.
Children under 5 years old - as prescribed by a pediatrician.
Lactulose (the active substance of Lactusan) has been known to doctors for over 40 years. In no study, during the entire period of use of lactulose, no direct or indirect evidence of the presence of mutagenic, genotoxic or teratogenic effects was obtained.
Lactulose does not penetrate into the bloodstream and does not have a systemic effect on the body. Safe for pregnant women and newborns. Being a sugar, lactulose does not increase blood glucose and may be indicated in diabetes.
